Fathers Day

I left my Father's Day card to last minute. I didn't know exactly what I wanted to do but I knew one part had to include a slider card. What I came up with or actually what I was able to find online was a slider card and another cute gift card holder. I also made a simple card and a matching envelope to go along with it. I got lucky and I was able to fit all three into the same envelope and I think it looks great.

Thanks for Looking!!

Gift Boxes with Matching Cards

I taught Portuguese to a class of 6-12 year olds. I only had 10 students. Anyways, last week was the last week of classes for them and I made them a small box-the origami ones with a simple matching card.

All the papers are from an 8x8 stack from DCWV but I am not sure who made the cardstock that I used for the cards.

My Scrap Room..Well Closet

I live with my parents, seeing as I am a 20 year old college student. I used to have everything in my closet in m room, which is pretty big but I was really hating having to look into a closet that was used for clothes and a whole bunch of other stuff. So I decided to move to the attic-by myself- which was the worst thing ever because I could never scrap-it was either too cold or too hot and there was never enough light.

So my dad finished remodeling our basement and they let me have the closet in the entertainment room. I thought I would add some pics of my little closet-which is just perfect for me.

So this first picture is of the closet- just looking in with the doors open. My dad hung up some pegboard for me and the blue storage is that organizer thing from I think HSN or QVC that I actually bought from Tuesday Morning for only $20!! The desk my dad made-it was my moms when she was a nail technician and since she doesn't do it anymore she let me have it.
Heres the pegboard:

If you click on the picture, you can see the details--I typed in what everything was.

These next pictures are of my drawers-

<-- There are four on each side. This one is actually on the right of my desk and in the first drawer is all my romance/love stuff like papers and embellishments. The second is holding a big DCWV stack of 8x8 paper and my paper cutter. The third is holding a whole bunch of albums and the last one(not shown) is holding empty adhesive holders.
--> This one is of my left side. Only two are shown-the first one is closed but its empty and the second is closed too but it only holds bags for trash. The third holds letter stamps, ink, heating gun and embossing powders-(the few that I have). And the last drawer I call my altering draw because it holds a bunch of stuff that I can alter for gifts or whatever.

To the right of my desk I have 3 shelves on the wall. The first has a blue paper holder that holds my 8.5 by 11 and my construction paper and some beads next to that. On the second shelf are some boxes of little drawers that hold all my little embellishments and then on the 3rd are some bigger albums and envelopes. On the floor I have bags and boxes for wrapping gifts.

This next picture is on the left side of the desk-its just a sterilite drawer with a whole bunch of tissue paper, ribbon and gift wrapping accessories

And then on the outside of the closet I have my 12x12 paper and a little shelf with my Cricut and all my adhesives.

Birthday Card

This is the birthday card I made for my friend. I used some papers from a K & Company scrapbook kit. The ribbons are from American Crafts and the stickers are from Making Memories (the little blue ones) and I believe K & Co. for the pink ones-which are flocked!! I also lined the envelope with the paper just to make it prettier.

Birthday Present for My Friend

My friends birthday is today. I made her a card and a cute candle set with an altered clipboard. The candle set is made with the tissue paper that Robyn from The Pink Stamper showed us how to do on one of her video episodes (which are awesome--you should check out her blog). It was really easy. I did not use white tissue paper, I used pink. I used some Studio G $ stamps for the butterflies, the ribbon is from American Crafts and the flowers are from Making Memories.

The paper on the clipboard and the candle dish are from a DCWV paper stack that I bought the other day on clearance at Joanns!! On the bottom of the clipboard is a little embellishment from Making Memories-its clear and embossed.

Love my new blog <3

I am having so much fun with my new blog!! I have been looking for new things to add to it and I finally loaded my pictures of some other things that I have done. I have been looking for new pictures for my banner (which i changed already to a greenish one).

Well its Sunday and this is like my lazy day. I just never know what to do on Sundays because everything closes early- and today the weather is blah!!. It is very humid today and it just makes me not want to do anything!!

Well I decided to post something that I had made last year for my godmothers birthday. I know--all my posts are of older things. I do have pictures of new things but I just haven't had the time to load them onto the computer.

SO anyway, this is an accordion book (i think that is what you call it) but i made it into a card for her birthday. I just printed some really pretty pictures of flowers from google images onto photo paper. The stamped words/images are from the $1 studio g clear stamps. I can not for the life of me remember who made the paper but it came in a big stack.

Oh and I also made the box for the card/book. Its just one of those simple oragami boxes that take a couple of minutes to make and I attached flower I made with george and my cricut.
