Pen/Pencil Holder

I made this pen/pencil holder for a friend who was just starting to teach this past September at a new school. I used a Pringles can, one of the shorter ones and cleaned it out. I wrapped it in paper, and using my Cricut I cut some flowers out-in various sizes - using the George cartridge. I glued the flowers on and pop dotted some as well for dimension. I used some rub ons for the black lettering and flocked stickers for the pink letters.

Beach Page

This is a page that I made for my boyfriends niece, Abigail, for her 3rd birthday. I guess you could say its really a gift for the parents, considering her age but you know what I mean. I do not know what company's products I used but I used an 8.5 by 11" piece of card stock and printed the picture using Word, but I printed it as a watermark-- so it looks sort of washed and light. The four little pictures grouped together were printed in black and white and then I used colored pencils to color in her adorable bikini. The little picture on top is printed on some vellum in color- it is just the big picture but smaller. I layered some green ribbon onto some pink ribbon and added a vellum quote and flowers.

My First Blog!!

I am part of the Cricut message board and I have seen so many of the ladies (and gentlemen) who have blogs showing off their creations and I thought --gee this is cool, maybe I should get my own. So I decided to try it out.

I love scrapbooking and I have actually gotten into making cards which is so much fun. I look forward to posting my creations and everyones comments!!
